Director of Human Resources Operations

The Director of HR Operations will oversee the day-to-day HR operations of the function, ensuring that HR processes are managed and performed efficiently and effectively. This role involves strategic operation planning, implementation of HR policies, and ensuring a positive employee experience regarding operational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the hiring and training of HR Managers.
- Oversee the work and schedules of HR departmental managers.
- Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Establish metrics and guidelines for evaluating HR efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review and analyze HR business procedures.
- Implement policies and procedures to improve day-to-day HR operations.
- Plan, direct, and control the HR operations budget.
- Communicate new HR directives to HR staff.
- Improve employee service and satisfaction through policy changes.
- Lead coordination and integration of HR efforts with other departments.
- Review and approve the HR operations budget.
- Ensure HR operations initiatives run smoothly and contribute to a healthy work environment.
- Align HR policies and procedures with business management systems.
- Maintain relationships with other departments, including Ethics and Compliance, Corporate Operations, Finance, Legal, and Payroll.
- Align HR operational goals with the overall business strategy.
- Identify key HR operations metrics and KPIs to gauge the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- At least 7 years of related experience.
- Thorough understanding of HR and business management practices.
- Superior multi-tasking, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Works under general office environmental conditions.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record and prepare reports.
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
