About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Founding Talent Lead to join our team at Tandem. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for building and scaling our talent function to meet the demands of our rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy to attract and hire top talent in the industry.
  • Develop and maintain a strong employer brand to attract and retain top talent.
  • Partner with our founder/CEO to develop strategies to build and enhance our talent pipeline.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruiting cycle, including job descriptions, sourcing, interview processes, calibration and decisions, offers, and closing.
  • Conduct candidate calls to assess their fit for and educate them on Tandem and specific roles on our team.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and ensure a seamless transition into the company.
  • Use data, feedback, and external research to continuously iterate and improve our interview processes and experience for candidates.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including technical recruiting (preferably in a high-growth startup environment).
  • Experience establishing recruiting processes from the ground up that drove high fill rates.
  • Demonstrated creativity in approaches to recruiting and a track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that allow you to be an effective participant in internal debates and pitch candidates nearly as well as the CEO.
  • High NPS with former teammates.
