Role Summary:

iParametrics LLC is seeking a dedicated Cost Engineer specializing in Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) disciplines to contribute to significant projects across various sectors. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee job cost reports, ensuring effective management of budgets, commitments, forecasts, and contingencies.
  • Monitor expenses by bid package, field order, and specific category changes as per project specifications.
  • Create and maintain project performance indicators, including visual representations.
  • Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to validate that cost proposals are equitable and adhere to contractual obligations.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of project financial reports.
  • Analyze design and construction documents to accurately assess material requirements.
  • Systematically compile material quantities for project execution.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Educational background in construction materials and methodologies is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years in project management, cost management, or cost estimation, particularly within general contracting or specialized subcontracting focusing on civil, structural, or architectural scopes.
  • Experience in industrial or semiconductor manufacturing projects is highly advantageous.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and familiar with project management tools such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, and Primavera Project Planner (P6).
  • Experience with design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Strong capability to read, interpret, and organize construction-related documents and data.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork abilities; adept at working effectively under pressure.
  • Flexible work schedule to meet project demands and timelines.
Essential Functions:
  • Combination of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the workday.
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing stairs and minimal lifting.
  • Must maintain constant mental alertness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
Benefits and Compensation:

As a W2 employee of iParametrics, team members are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with a company-matching 401K plan, subject to plan terms and applicable waiting periods. Compensation for this role is hourly, ranging from $41 to $64, based on experience, background, and skills, calculated on a 50-hour work week.
