About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our Retail Engineering organization at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading large-scale projects and feature areas from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery while maintaining a relentless focus on execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver on every aspect of the project, from business requirements analysis and technical design discussions to testing and partner collaboration.
  • Take full responsibility for the success of your projects, steering them from concept to launch with laser focus on execution.
  • Confidently navigate multifaceted environments, building strong relationships and smoothly resolving conflicts.
  • Work seamlessly with engineers, product owners, and strategic partners, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed.
  • Efficiently manage resources, monitor timelines, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in engineering project or program management.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical role.
  • Experience in software development life cycle methodologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in engineering project or program management.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse audiences through clear, compelling written and verbal communication.
  • Successful track record of managing budgets and forecasting resource needs.
  • Highly effective team player who can bring engineers, product managers, and designers together to deliver results.
  • Industry-recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master certification.
  • Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced dev environments with constant change.
  • Demonstrate technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate the business and technical implications of the decisions made by project teams.
  • Strong facilitation and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and lead project teams to meet all project deadlines with minimal supervision.
