Job Title: Electrical Project Cost Estimator

iParametrics LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Cost Estimator to join our esteemed Project Cost Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for estimating, cost control, forecasting, and risk analysis for large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain accurate job cost reports, including budgets, commitments, forecasts, and contingencies.
  • Track costs by bid package, field order, and specific category of change as outlined by the project.
  • Maintain project indicators, including visual graphics, to ensure timely and accurate cost reporting.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and equipment/material vendors to ensure that cost proposals are fair and align with contract requirements.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of project cost reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Interpret design and construction documents to quantify materials required for construction projects.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs to validate subcontractor proposals and prepare cost authorization packages.
  • Summarize material quantities in an organized manner for project analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years of construction estimating experience, ideally in industrial or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) and general network computing.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6).
  • Competence with design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Training in reading and interpreting design and construction documents, specifications, and survey theory.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
