About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Checkers & Rally's. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in executing the restaurant plan, achieving sales and profit goals, and providing excellent Guest and Team service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Assist the General Manager in managing restaurant operations, including sales and profit goals, procedures, and Guest service.
  • Team Management: Support the General Manager in interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members, as well as providing regular feedback and coaching on their performance.
  • Guest Service: Ensure that Guests receive excellent service, and that the restaurant is a safe, clean, and fun environment for employees and Guests.
  • Policy and Procedures: Ensure that policy and procedures are being followed on shifts, and identify and respond to complaints and policy and procedure violations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) - Preferred
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certified
  • Experience: 1-2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR)
  • Skills: Basic math skills, Microsoft Office, and general systems experience
  • Personal Qualities: Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills, ability to work flexible schedule and extended hours, high energy to keep up with our fast-paced environment, and commitment to our core values of integrity, service, excellence, and courage to be bold & grow
