Restaurant Operations Manager

Three Oaks Hospitality's collection of community-driven restaurants and bars is seeking a motivated and outgoing individual to fill the role of Assistant General Manager for our hospitality concepts. The restaurant manager will work under the direction of the General Manager and fulfill a variety of responsibilities, including overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restaurant Operations: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and financial performance.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Team Management: Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee development.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
- Staff Development: Train and educate staff members to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Financial Management: Manage cash flow, records, and credit card payments.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit operations reports and other documentation requested by the General Manager.
Requirements:
- Leadership Skills: Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
- Financial Management: Knowledge of financial management principles, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue analysis.
- Food Service Operations: Strong knowledge of food service operations, including cooking techniques, menu planning, and food safety regulations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
- Certifications: Valid Food Handlers Certificate.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical Ability: Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
- Prolonged Sitting: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
