Automotive Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Maryland State Inspector to join our team at Century Ford Mt Airy. As a key member of our Used Vehicle Department, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards.

As a Maryland State Inspector, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and safety of our vehicles. You will work closely with our Service Advisor team to ensure that customers receive accurate and timely information about any additional services needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Maryland state regulations
• Test-drive vehicles to identify any issues or defects
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate with customers and Service Advisors to provide accurate and timely information about vehicle inspections and repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background and experience
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and have a clean and valid driver's license
• Maryland State Inspector's license required
