Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local utility providers for the installation and upgrade of electrical services
  • Conduct electrical system analysis and perform necessary calculations
  • Design electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service entry to load
  • Develop fire alarm and low voltage system designs
  • Coordinate service room layouts, utility conduits, grounding, and lightning protection
  • Prepare design narratives and feasibility assessments
  • Conduct field surveys, inspections, and create punch lists for electrical and fire alarm systems
  • Utilize engineering and design software, including Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD, to complete tasks


Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant design experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in New York is required
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to collaboration during design and construction phases
