Job Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Engineer III plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality and upkeep of the Mountain Park Health Center facilities. Working under the guidance of the facilities director, this position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of the building and surrounding grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts routine preventive maintenance and repairs on clinic facilities and associated equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, door hardware, lighting, and HVAC systems to maintain safe and efficient operations.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of work orders and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborates with external maintenance vendors to coordinate repairs and system activities.
  • Regularly inspects building systems such as fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure compliance with operational standards and generates detailed inspection reports.
  • Assists in various facility-related projects as needed.
  • Obtains price estimates for the acquisition of equipment, materials, and services, and discusses findings with the facilities director.
  • Provides training and guidance to new building engineers.
  • Ensures adherence to all relevant codes, regulations, and organizational policies related to facility management.
  • Maintains consistent and reliable attendance.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities maintenance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Vocational training in HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Possession of an EPA 608 Certificate.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in HVAC systems is advantageous.
