Under the guidance of the facilities director, this role is responsible for overseeing the effective operation and upkeep of the Mountain Park Health Center's facilities and grounds. The position entails evaluating requirements, managing the work order system, and collaborating with operations managers to ensure that the buildings fulfill their intended purposes in alignment with the mission of Mountain Park Health Center.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts routine maintenance and repairs for the clinic and associated equipment and grounds, including plumbing, carpentry, wall restoration, painting, door hardware repairs, lighting upkeep, and monitoring of HVAC systems, ensuring all operations are safe and efficient.
  • Completes and organizes work order documentation.
  • Coordinates maintenance activities and repairs with external service providers.
  • Regularly inspects building systems such as fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to verify operational integrity and prepares inspection reports.
  • Supports various facility projects as needed.
  • Requests and evaluates price estimates for the acquisition of equipment, materials, services, and labor for projects, discussing findings with the facilities director.
  • Assists in the training of new facilities engineers.
  • Ensures adherence to all relevant codes, regulations, and organizational directives pertaining to the facility.
  • Maintains consistent and reliable attendance.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities maintenance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Vocational training in HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Possession of an EPA 608 Certificate.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in HVAC systems.
