The Facility Maintenance Specialist will report directly to the designated shift Engineering Team Manager, with a secondary reporting line to the Senior Maintenance Engineer for daily task prioritization.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for engineering fault conditions, engaging in both reactive and scheduled maintenance tasks, while also participating in continuous improvement initiatives within our advanced, automated Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC).


Key Responsibilities of the Facility Maintenance Specialist:
Conducting electrical and mechanical scheduled maintenance across the facility in a precise, timely, and safe manner.
Maintaining accurate records of work activities, tasks performed, parts utilized, and training delivered.
Executing assembly and sub-assembly repairs by adhering to documented work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
Responding to and diagnosing equipment failures, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs.
Carrying out daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Analyzing data to identify solutions for enhancing MHE performance, providing reports as necessary.
Performing quality inspections to ensure that work meets safety standards.
The Facility Maintenance Specialist may be assigned additional tasks as required by management, which are considered reasonable requests.

About You
Background checks (criminal, drug, and employment verification) will be required for this position.
To qualify, candidates must meet the following criteria:

An Associate's or Vocational degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline or advanced training with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

A minimum of two years of direct experience in the mechanical or electrical sector.
Experience in performing electrical or mechanical maintenance, including predictive and preventive maintenance.
Proficiency in diagnosing and documenting equipment failures, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of effectively sharing knowledge with others.
Excellent organizational skills; able to prioritize tasks effectively.

This role requires working at heights using various access equipment, so comfort with working at elevated levels is essential.

Strong technical skills related to automation hardware and software.
Analytical skills with attention to detail; effective problem-solving abilities and a practical approach.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
Numerate and proficient in PC applications, including G-Suite and MS Office programs.
