Position Overview

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of five years in financial oversight, payroll management, and leadership roles.
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to established personnel policies and procedures.
  • Act as Trustee for 403(b) Salary Reduction and Defined Contribution plans.
  • Manage modifications to insurance coverage for property, vehicles, and various liability policies. Assist in coordinating vehicle accident reporting and repairs.
  • Oversee the preparation of internal monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Prepare and review government tax and information returns, including payroll, sales, gaming, and Form 990.
  • Review financial statements and reports for the Board of Directors, including investment statements and quarterly gaming information.
  • Conduct annual employee evaluations and hold staff meetings as necessary.
  • Authorize gaming, payroll transfer, and accounts payable checks.
  • Manage inventory of unused purchase orders and authorize new POs as needed.
  • Maintain banking relationships and oversee the application process for agency credit cards.
  • Manage cash flow for the Red River Human Services Foundation.
  • Review contracts and manage fleet card usage.
  • Assist with budgets and cost reports related to Developmental Disabilities (DD) services.
  • Responsible for electronic billing to the State for DD services and addressing denied claims.
  • Present financial statements and budgets at Board meetings as required.
  • Coordinate and oversee annual audits, including independent and profit-sharing audits, ensuring timely completion of claims and audit reviews.
  • Supervise payroll processing and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the payroll system, with the ability to prepare payroll when necessary.
  • Utilize time-keeping software to manage employee setup, timesheet approvals, and reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with other staff members and communicate clearly.
  • Attend workshops and seminars as required, along with staff and director meetings.
  • Review financial matters related to individuals served and provide training as necessary.
  • Complete projects in a timely manner and communicate any challenges in meeting deadlines.
  • Undertake special projects and additional duties as assigned by the CEO.
