Overview: The Assistant Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the daily management, coordination, and execution of key objectives related to sales, operational costs, employee engagement, customer service, and overall satisfaction, as well as maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehends all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training initiatives to effectively oversee and manage the store in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Ensures a welcoming atmosphere for customers, while fostering a responsive, courteous, friendly, and service-oriented team environment.
  • Supervises the preparation and presentation of food and products, ensuring adherence to brand standards regarding portioning, appearance, and service.
  • Assists team members in completing opening, closing, and preparation tasks efficiently.
  • Actively engages in hands-on management by preparing food, serving customers, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Supports company and store objectives in sales, service quality, facility appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness through employee training and by cultivating a positive, productive work environment.
  • Maintains cash control by following cash handling and reconciliation procedures diligently.
  • Fills in as necessary to uphold customer service standards and ensure smooth operations.
  • Assists in product management by confirming accurate unit counts and conditions of received products, ensuring deliveries meet brand standards.
  • Identifies labor or food cost issues and implements specific actions to positively influence those figures.
  • Assists in labor scheduling based on anticipated business activity, ensuring positions are adequately staffed and labor cost objectives are met.
  • Possesses knowledge of human resources policies.
  • Provides suggestions and recommendations to General and Regional Managers.
  • Enhances professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing relevant publications.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
