Position Summary:

The Restaurant Lead Manager will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and profitability. This role involves maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise food preparation and ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all beverage regulations.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports to the Executive Management Team.
  • Handle employee discipline and terminations in collaboration with the HR Director.
  • Provide leadership and constructive feedback to staff.
  • Ensure all team members comply with uniform standards and company policies.
  • Welcome guests and assist with menu and beverage selections.
  • Oversee both Front of House and Back of House operations.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for all guests, ensuring responsive and courteous service.
  • Train and motivate team members across all departments.
  • Create and manage weekly staff schedules.
  • Achieve HR objectives by recruiting, selecting, and training staff in partnership with the HR Director.
  • Manage inventory and procurement processes.
  • Step into various roles as needed during staff absences.
  • Analyze sales levels and profitability to enhance business performance.
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract patrons.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to maintain professional knowledge.
  • Oversee the opening and closing financial processes.
  • Ensure all restaurant equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Availability to work at multiple locations as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with restaurant POS systems and online delivery applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a full-service restaurant environment.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance and navigate the restaurant efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • High integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work long hours during peak times, including evenings and weekends.
  • Food handlers and/or alcohol certification may be required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Experience in both Front of House and Back of House operations.
  • Familiarity with food safety and handling guidelines.
