Description

Job Overview:

The Linen Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management and success of the Linen Department. This includes optimizing the use of physical space, maintaining quality standards, overseeing team performance, managing costs, and executing all related functions. The Supervisor's effectiveness will be assessed based on the quality and accuracy of product delivery, the precision of order fulfillment, the condition of equipment, the organization of operations, and the professional development of team members. The primary goal is to ensure that the department meets order requirements while adhering to company standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all personnel within the linen department.
  • Guarantee timely and precise order fulfillment.
  • Create and distribute weekly/daily schedules and task assignments.
  • Strategically allocate employee hours to maintain labor cost efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse production teams to facilitate smooth operations from order fulfillment to loading.
  • Oversee maintenance and preventative maintenance documentation for machinery.
  • Administer the safety training program for all direct reports.
  • Assess team members for performance and growth opportunities.
  • Identify areas for improvement in equipment handling, processing, and warehousing.
