  • Collaborate with Business Development and Estimating teams during the pre-bid phase to stay informed on project activities. If assigned, coordinate with relevant departments to thoroughly review plans before proposal submission, updating estimates for design flaws, alternatives, staffing, and equipment needs.

  • Request surety bonds and insurance certificates, submitting them alongside signed contracts to clients.
  • File building permit applications, tracking review progress until approval is granted.
  • Conduct monthly budget reviews to verify accuracy of variances and adjust estimates as needed, involving the project management team for insights on cost-saving strategies.
  • Draft correspondence with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, including schedules, project timelines, memos, and requests for information.
  • Utilize and maintain project management tools to monitor and document project performance.
  • Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring timely payments from clients and prompt payments to subcontractors and suppliers based on project completion percentages.
  • Document the quality and progress of subcontractors and suppliers, updating them on any changes to plans, specifications, or schedules.
  • Keep management informed about productivity, costs, quality control, document management, and payment processing issues that may impact quality, budget, progress, or safety.
  • Coordinate project closeout activities with architects, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, public officials, and internal teams, ensuring all required documentation is obtained and reviewed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with degrees in Construction Management, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering being advantageous.
  • Demonstrates prior experience in construction project management with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Exhibits strong planning, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
