Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team at Western Specialty Contractors. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Safety and Compliance
    • Identify and mitigate potential hazards on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor a team of skilled craftsmen, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
    • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to maintain open lines of communication with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate and manage the logistics of construction projects, including scheduling, materials, and equipment.
    • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality, adhering to company policies and industry best practices.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify and address any issues or defects.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with a proven track record of success in site management and team leadership.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
    • Ability to work at heights, in extreme temperatures, and to wear company safety equipment.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
