About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Services Manager to join our team at Bonaventure Senior Living. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our dining services, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Dining Services Operations: Oversee the management of our dining room and kitchen, ensuring that all aspects of food service are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Lead a Team of Professionals: Manage and motivate a team of dining services staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that our residents receive exceptional service.
  • Develop and Implement Menus: Work with our culinary team to develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Manage Budgets and Inventory: Oversee the management of budgets and inventory, ensuring that we are operating within our means and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Experience in Dining Services: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of professionals, with a focus on customer service and resident satisfaction.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Strong knowledge of culinary principles and practices, with the ability to develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
