Position Overview

Key Responsibilities as a Crisis Intervention Specialist:

  • Ensure compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, MCO, and EHP regulations and standards.
  • Perform QMHP responsibilities, including participation in Supervision sessions.
  • Access the Behavioral Health Portal during standard business hours.
  • Provide essential support to individuals engaged in Mobile Crisis services.
  • Maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours weekly in Mental Health Skill Building.
  • Assist clients with de-escalation strategies and mental health education.
  • Execute care coordination tasks and facilitate connections to necessary resources.
  • Guarantee timely submission of progress notes and related documentation.
  • Conduct case management and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Engage in discharge planning sessions.
  • Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Act as a mentor to colleagues and provide training as required.
  • Participate in mandatory meetings.
  • Fulfill other duties as needed.
