Position Overview:
The Field Operations Engineer at Danaher Corporation plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction by delivering top-notch service and support. Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute the installation, qualification, routine maintenance, and repair of instruments at client locations.
2. Manage administrative duties including service scheduling, documentation completion, and inventory management.
3. Collaborate effectively with a broader customer-facing team, which includes Customer Care, Service Sales, and Account Managers.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a background in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or related STEM fields. This experience may stem from a Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, military service, or equivalent technical education or professional background.

Skills Required:
- Proficient in the use of calibrated tools, hand tools, and power tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide outstanding customer experiences.

Travel and Physical Requirements:
This role necessitates travel, which may involve up to 50% overnight stays. While primarily domestic, occasional international travel may be required. A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is essential.

Physical Demands:
The ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise, and/or place items weighing up to 50lbs is required. Candidates should be capable of standing, walking for extended periods, sitting, squatting, kneeling, and ascending or descending stairs.

Additional Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with environments adhering to GxP guidelines.
- Strong IT skills related to Networking and Automation.
- Knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.

The annual salary range for this position is competitive and reflects the value of the role within the organization. This position is also eligible for bonus and incentive pay.
