Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues related to vehicle connectivity and launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and influence product design.
  • Develop and implement precise management plans for projects, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the Ford Pro ecosystem and bring together data and systems to support a one-stop-shop go-to-market approach.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop analysis and documentation, communicating effectively with production, managerial, and executive teams.
  • Develop and share weekly and monthly leadership reporting, articulating and updating internal and external documentation.
  • Lead skilled resources with unique technical backgrounds to evaluate and establish Fleet-focused Quality KPIs.
  • Work with Level 2 teams to support hardware and software issues, logging bugs in Jira and following up as required.
  • Own the escalation process, addressing product, data quality, hardware, and software issues, and coordinating support activity across multiple teams.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree and 5 years of experience delivering products or managing quality in a technical function.
  • 2 years of experience in vehicle connectivity and launches.
  • 2 years of experience with MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Forms.
  • 2 years of experience working with large and small fleet-related metrics and external partners.
  • Proven analytical abilities and advanced understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes.
  • Knowledge of Six-Sigma and/or Quality/Reliability tools.
