Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide quality support to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities, promoting their comfort, privacy, and dignity in all aspects of care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, feeding, and mobility.
- Provide medical care, such as checking vital signs, applying creams/ointments, and administering medications according to MAP regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of individual progress and participate in ISP meetings to ensure effective care planning.
- Transport individuals to medical appointments, recreational activities, and other outings as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Successful completion of a Massachusetts-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or equivalent education.
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Massachusetts and active certified status.
- Valid driver's license and 1 year of driving experience.
