Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Specialist to join our team at Astronautics Corporation of America. As an Electronics Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical assembly and subassembly, circuit board soldering, harnessing and solder termination operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and/or mechanical assembly
  • Assemble small components
  • Use small electrical hand tools and soldering iron
  • Hand solder components onto circuit cards
  • Perform wire harnessing

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Fine manual dexterity skills
  • Able to follow standard written work instructions and comprehend electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Able to successfully pass Astronautics solder training program
  • Able to pass English comprehension test

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of soldering experience
  • IPC-610 solder certified
  • Avionics experience
