We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team at SITE Staffing. As an Electronics Assembler, you will be responsible for producing high-quality electronic products through manual assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble electronic components using manual processes such as stuffing, hand assembly, mechanical assembly, soldering, and rework.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet workmanship standards.
- Test electronic assemblies to ensure they function correctly.
- Follow quality policies and procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Build products as directed by Team Leader/Supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year experience in the electronics industry required.
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English to enable clear communication and comprehension of internal company documentation.
- Basic math skills required to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to understand and determine product quality to written documentation.
- Able to perform basic data entry transactions.
- Must achieve a passing score on the IPC Component Identification course.
- Must achieve a passing score on the IPC Workmanship standards exam.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be seated or standing, based on their work station. The employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk; the employee must frequently use hands to point, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Vision RequirementsThe employee must be able to perform the following vision tasks: close and distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
