Position Overview:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce high-quality items through various manual assembly techniques, including stuffing, hand assembly, mechanical assembly, soldering, and rework processes.
  • Evaluate workmanship to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Conduct testing on electronic assemblies to verify functionality.
  • Adhere to established quality policies and procedures.
  • Optimize work efficiency by following set standards.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives, aiding in process enhancements.
  • Assemble products according to directives from the Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Engage positively in team-oriented activities.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe workspace.
  • Contribute to problem-solving discussions and demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
  • This role requires on-site presence.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:

This position does not include supervisory duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma or GED is mandatory. A minimum of one year of experience in the electronics sector is essential.

LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL, & REASONING ABILITIES:

Fluency in English is required. Basic mathematical skills are necessary. Ability to interpret product quality based on documentation is expected.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic data entry capabilities.
  • A passing score in IPC Component Identification course and IPC Workmanship standards examination is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This role involves sitting or standing for extended periods, occasional walking, use of hands, and the ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds.

Vision requirements include the ability to see both close and distant objects, distinguish colors, and perceive depth.
