As an Administrative Associate - Patient Financial Services at NYC Health + Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient care experience. Your responsibilities will include facilitating managed care member services tasks, such as primary care provider changes, insurance plan changes, explanation of benefits, and insurance eligibility verification.

In this position, you will also be responsible for conducting outreach to members via mail/telephone calls to obtain appropriate documentation for patients to complete their Medicaid renewal for submission to HRA for continued insurance coverage. Additionally, you will resolve customer service inquiries related to enrollment in managed care via telephone and/or in-person.

You will conduct patient interviews and/or pre-screening process to obtain identifying/qualifying demographic, biographic, and financial information to complete the new patient registration process. As a liaison between patients and clinical service lines, you will ensure the continuum of patient care and satisfaction.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to carry out assignments in a satisfactory manner. You should have a high school diploma or its equivalent and six (6) months of full-time satisfactory clerical experience and/or experience interacting with the public.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $43,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
