Job Title: Chief Marketing Officer, Auditorium Theatre

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Marketing Officer to lead our marketing efforts and establish the theatre's image and positioning in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Plan, implement, and oversee all marketing and advertising campaigns to drive audience growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Lead Sales and Public Relations Efforts: Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing objectives with sales and public relations efforts to expose our entertainment offerings to a broad audience.
  • Manage Marketing Team: Develop and support the in-house marketing team, including media efforts and initiatives, to ensure effective execution of marketing strategies.
  • Build External Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies and marketing professionals to implement marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Conduct Market Research: Stay current on market trends and competitor positioning to inform marketing strategies and ensure the Auditorium remains a leader in the market.
  • Implement Brand Guide: Ensure consistent branding and positioning across all marketing efforts to establish the Auditorium as the leader in the market with the greatest variety and diversity of entertainment.
  • Contribute to Programming and Calendar Growth: Collaborate with internal teams to develop new programming and calendar growth initiatives to drive audience growth and increase revenue.
  • Manage Budget and Reconciliations: Oversee budget management and reconciliations to ensure effective financial management of marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Experience: 8 years of proven experience in a marketing manager or business development role.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and leadership skills, creative and entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional knowledge of marketing techniques and platforms.

Working Conditions: Normal climate-controlled office environment is provided. Job is largely sedentary, but there is a need to move about the office and buildings frequently. Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, pushing and/or pulling is required (typically less than 10 pounds of weight or pressure). Regular use of desktop computer is required, calling for frequent hand/wrist movement and repetition. Moderate level of stress. Travel within the local or regional setting is required for site visits. Some nights and weekends necessary.
