Role Summary

The Beverage Support Staff is tasked with assisting bartenders in the preparation and dismantling of bar areas. This role involves delivering supplies to bar locations during events held at the Theatre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive, professional, and friendly demeanor with guests and colleagues.
  • Assist bartenders in setting up and breaking down designated bar areas.
  • Provide ice to bar locations during setup and throughout events as needed.
  • Manage waste removal from bar areas as required.
  • Deliver food and beverage supplies to bar locations during events.
  • Transport and retrieve bar floor mats at the start and conclusion of each event.
  • Clean and maintain the area behind bar locations.
  • Follow the theatre's Food & Beverage policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Assist in stocking bars with necessary products.
  • Occasionally assist bartenders in pouring beverages during peak times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Help with the movement of product deliveries when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a barback in a large theatre or high-volume setting.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and noisy environment.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Required to stand for extended periods; must be able to bend, lift, and navigate stairs.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills.
  • Possess a collaborative and optimistic spirit.
  • Basset Certification is required.

Compensation

$15.80 per hour plus tips.
