Your Contributions in This Role

In this position, you will oversee the management of product flow within the supply chain to meet customer demands. You will coordinate procurement and manufacturing processes for a designated range of products. Your responsibilities will include analyzing material flow parameters such as order quantities, lot sizes, and replenishment intervals, while recommending optimal levels to meet business needs. You will also manage inventory levels of raw materials and semi-finished goods, monitor capacity requirements, and report on service levels. Continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes will be a key focus, as you seek to enhance customer service, inventory management, and overall supply chain efficiency.

As a Supply Chain Planning Analyst, you will have the chance to leverage your analytical skills and collaborate with a diverse team. Your impact will be felt through:
  • Enhancing business outcomes by analyzing data and driving improvements in supply chain material flow from raw materials to end customers.
  • Designing and implementing complex supply chain strategies using methodologies such as Synchronous Management and Six Sigma.
  • Encouraging supply chain optimization for both existing and new products by assessing inventory strategies and capacity planning systems.
  • Leading initiatives to refine processes that enhance production planning and execution.
  • Identifying IT requirements to support supply chain systems effectively.
  • Advising senior management on significant supply chain modifications.
Your Qualifications

To ensure your success in this role, 3M requires the following minimum qualifications:
  • A completed and verified Bachelor's degree or higher.
Additional qualifications that may enhance your candidacy include:
  • A degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Management.
  • Experience with MRP systems in various environments.
  • Lean-Six Sigma experience, particularly Green Belt certification.
  • Expertise in developing Supply Chain Systems.
  • APICS CPIM Certification.
Work Location: Remote options available.

Travel Requirements: May include occasional domestic travel.

Relocation Assistance: Potentially available.

Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.

Compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws is essential for this position.
