We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee estimating, bidding, business development, and the management of multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage project administration, including the preparation of work scopes and organization of cost structures; develop, monitor, and update master and rolling schedules. Identify, formalize, prepare, and submit contract modification proposals, ensuring distribution of change documents to all relevant parties, and expedite requests for quotations to subcontractors and vendors while reviewing quotes for fairness and accuracy in line with contract stipulations. Maintain ongoing communication with the project Superintendent to guarantee a safe, high-quality, and efficient project execution. Support the Superintendent in implementing company policies and executing project tasks. Handle financial reporting, keeping commitment and projection information current in the job costing system, preparing monthly progress reports that incorporate new subcontract amounts, material purchase costs to date, and change orders, as well as preparing owner billing by compiling costs, reviewing subcontractor invoices, and organizing documentation per owner requirements. Assist the estimating team with bids, effectively quoting work for clients on smaller scope projects, conducting quantity takeoffs for both contracted jobs and those being bid, and participating in bid reviews prior to submission. Aid in negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients. Review all subcontractor and vendor shop drawings, product data, samples, and manuals for compliance with contract documents and coordination with other work. Contribute to Business Development efforts. Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in heavy civil, railroads, bridges, or marine construction. Preferred knowledge of earth anchors, soil retention walls, pile driving, auger cast piles, micro piles, wells, and helical piers. Proven leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, and strong organizational capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external clients. Familiarity with project management control systems, including scheduling, cost control, procurement, value engineering, and estimating. Ability to read and interpret project specifications, prepare project submittals, and generate post-job reports. Proficient in MS Excel and Word, as well as scheduling and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). Capable of working independently while also being an integral part of a team.
