This dynamic individual will serve as the initial point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing a warm and welcoming experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Register patients with accurate demographic, insurance, and clinical information to ensure timely billing and efficient record-keeping.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns, provide information, and coordinate care.
  • Manage multiple phone calls and face-to-face interactions with poise and professionalism, utilizing strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of hospital resources.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of secretarial experience or medical office training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records a plus.
