Job Responsibilities:

As a Quality Manager, your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Establishing and executing quality control systems to guarantee consistent high-quality output.
  • Collaborating with project managers and site engineers to ensure quality benchmarks are achieved throughout the construction process.
  • Conducting regular evaluations and inspections to pinpoint areas for enhancement and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Leading and guiding the quality assurance team in applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to refine processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Employing FMEA tools to foresee potential challenges and implement preventive strategies.
  • Addressing and resolving any quality-related issues, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Preparing and delivering quality reports to senior management, clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Driving initiatives for continuous improvement to boost operational efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Ensuring all team members receive training on quality control practices and their significance in the construction workflow.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management capacity within the construction sector.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma methodology (Black Belt preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience with FMEA and other risk management tools.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex situations and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office Suite.
