Job Responsibilities
As a Quality Manager, your duties will encompass:
- Creating and executing quality control systems to guarantee consistent high-quality production.
- Collaborating with project managers and site engineers to ensure that quality standards are upheld throughout all phases of construction.
- Conducting routine audits and inspections to pinpoint areas for enhancement and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Leading and guiding the quality assurance team in the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to refine processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Employing FMEA tools to foresee potential issues and implement preventive strategies.
- Addressing and resolving any quality-related challenges, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
- Preparing and delivering quality reports to senior management, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Driving initiatives for continuous improvement to boost operational efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Ensuring that all team members receive training on quality control practices and their significance in the construction process.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management capacity within the construction sector.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma methodology (Black Belt preferred).
- Demonstrated experience with FMEA and other risk management tools.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to analyze complex situations and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office Suite.
