Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in collaborative problem-solving and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in essential software applications: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Ability to compose clear and concise correspondence to suppliers that conveys all necessary information.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High energy level suitable for a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations as they arise.
  • Composed and steady under pressure.

Job Description

  • Developing and distributing Test Request Forms to suppliers, monitoring sample progress, liaising with third-party laboratories, and relaying lab results to vendors and stakeholders.
  • Overseeing Vendor Portals such as Trace Gains, Intertek Data Link, SGS ASnap, UL Path Analytics, and other hosted platforms.
  • Analyzing and monitoring data from our third-party service providers.
  • Creating dashboards and scorecards for vendors and third-party service providers.
  • Tracking and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from Trace Gains, including vendor data completion rates, response times, and addressing non-compliance as necessary.
  • Reporting issues and concerns to Quality Assurance Supervisors and relevant stakeholders.
  • Understanding company, customer, and departmental standards, policies, and requirements.
  • Communicating lab results to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing trend analysis on testing failures, vendor response times, and other relevant metrics.
  • Coordinating the shipment of samples to domestic and international laboratories.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently while engaging with cross-functional team members.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Competence in utilizing company software and technology for project management.
  • Conveying compliance expectations to both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Managing assigned projects effectively.
  • Summarizing expectations and outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Reviewing Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) component data and providing updates and insights to stakeholders.
  • Training on company systems such as Baan, Oracle, SAP, PLM, and QC Social Compliance processes.
  • Administering user management in the Trace Gains system.
  • Conducting product inspections on co-manufactured items.
  • Advocating for Food Safety within the facility.
  • Inputting data into internal and customer portals.
  • Tracking and escalating SCARS using our Vendor Management Software.
  • Understanding the Vendor Score Card process.
  • Being cross-trained within the department.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.
