Position Overview: Senior Project Manager - Construction

In the role of Senior Project Manager - Construction, you will play a crucial role in managing projects from inception to completion, working closely with diverse teams to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with design teams to enhance project delivery
  • Interpret and implement architectural designs while ensuring quality standards
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and regulatory bodies
  • Develop project estimates, timelines, and documentation
  • Negotiate contracts and track project milestones
  • Provide consistent updates to clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance and monitor on-site construction progress
  • Guide and develop team members
  • Promote a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Address business-related challenges in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related discipline
  • At least 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Knowledge of commercial building regulations and healthcare standards
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with renovation and new construction in healthcare or senior living environments
  • Familiarity with Long Term Care community operations
  • Experience working with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
  • Skills in construction estimation
