Job Title: Psychiatric Technician Instructor

The California Department of Developmental Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychiatric Technician Instructor to join their team. As a key member of the Crisis Assessment Stabilization Team (CAST), you will play a vital role in providing mobile crisis services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The Psychiatric Technician Instructor will be responsible for providing on-site assessments, in-home training, and support to individuals experiencing crisis. You will work collaboratively with community partners to promote long-term mental health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site assessments and develop individualized plans to support individuals in crisis
  • Provide in-home training and support to individuals and their families
  • Collaborate with community partners to promote mental health and well-being
  • Develop and implement training programs for CAST team members
Requirements:
  • Valid California Driver's License (CDL)
  • Pass a background investigation
  • Pass a drug screening
