Job Title: Psychiatric Technician Assistant

Job Summary:

The California Department of Developmental Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Technician Assistant to join our team. As a Psychiatric Technician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including psychiatric nursing care and behavioral training.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in recreational activities and provide training to consumers to promote independence and self-determination.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Valid California Drivers License (CDL) required.
  • Must pass a drug screening and background investigation prior to hire.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate required.
