This position is located at Luke AFB in Arizona and supports the F-35 Program.

The role primarily involves 2nd shift work, but due to the dynamic nature of flying operations, flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift and non-standard hours may be required.

Occasional travel may be necessary. A Top Secret clearance may be needed in the future based on local mission requirements.

The Security Operations Specialist (SOS) will provide security support in both classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Academic Training Center (ATC) and Fighter Squadrons.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate interactions among instructors, students, and facility visitors;
- Manage badging and access control systems;
- Monitor security surveillance systems;
- Conduct random entry and exit inspections;
- Enforce security protocols, including DoD Manual Vol 1-4, ICD 705, TSCO duties, secure facility access, classified document management, and compliance monitoring for COMSEC and COMPUSEC;
- Assist in maintaining file plans and documentation in secure containers;
- Execute vault alarm tests;
- Support various security tasks;
- Participate in training sessions and vault hours scheduling for designated squadrons or the Fighter Training Center. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Some travel may be anticipated. A TS/SCI clearance might be required based on mission needs.

Basic Qualifications
  • Current SECRET security clearance or enrollment in the Continuous Vetting (CV) program within 5 years from the investigation closed date.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Prior experience with SAPs and knowledge of DoD Vols. 1-4.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in industrial and/or military security.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Aptitude for building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Special Access Program (SAP) environment.
  • Background in a military setting.

Knowledge of F-35 program security environments.

  • Experience in delivering briefings and/or training sessions.

Work Schedule Flexibility

Lockheed Martin supports diverse work schedules that provide added flexibility to our team members. Salary Range:

The annual base salary range for this position in certain areas is $45,200 - $86,600. These figures serve as a general reference only.

When extending an offer, Lockheed Martin evaluates factors such as position scope, candidate experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions.
