About the Role

gTANGIBLE Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Security Control Specialist to join our team. As a Security Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Security Assessments: Perform thorough assessments of management, operational, and technical security controls to determine their effectiveness in meeting security requirements.
  • Provide Expert Recommendations: Offer recommendations for corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Information System Owners, Information Data Owners, Program Security Officers, and Delegated and/or Authorizing Officials to ensure seamless security authorization processes.
  • Ensure Compliance: Evaluate security assessment documentation and provide written recommendations for security authorization to the Government.
  • Support Continuous Monitoring: Assist in the implementation of Continuous Monitoring Plans to ensure the ongoing security and integrity of our information systems.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience (4 years). 7-9 years related experience.
  • Security Clearance: Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive M for Information Assurance Technician Level III or Information Assurance Manager Level II within 6 months of the date of hire.
  • Technical Skills: Minimum of four (4) years' experience in SAP, SCI or Collateral Information Systems (IS) Security and the implementation of regulations identified in the description of duties.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
