As a Security Operations Specialist, you will contribute to ensuring safety today and smarter solutions for tomorrow. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide comprehensive security support to a client's facility and organization. This position will offer daily assistance for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Impact of the Security Operations Specialist:
  • Conduct classification reviews of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Assist in maintaining a document accountability database and related correspondence.
  • Process classified mail and maintain receipt records.
  • Oversee the destruction of classified materials.
  • Manage accountability for magnetic media.
  • Provide reproduction support for classified documents.
  • Maintain various daily logs for administrative functions related to document control.
  • Assist in processing inbound data and outbound data transfer files.
  • Transfer electronic data files to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain an extensive database of customer points of contact.
  • Assist in researching, processing, filing, and maintaining visit notices.
  • Escort facility visitors and maintain associated logs.
  • Support the preparation of facility access control badges.
  • Conduct entry and exit inspections.
  • Assist in maintaining facility access control systems, including visitor management.
  • Perform data entry into the Personnel Access Security System database and maintain all customer-sponsored billets and quota information.
  • Assist in maintaining personnel security files for all personnel within the supported element.
  • Adhere to and enforce the client's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Support security awareness and education initiatives.
  • Perform various administrative support tasks as directed by the contractor site lead or Senior Security Representative.
Additional Requirements:
  • Familiarity with security policies/manuals and relevant DCIDs/JAFANs.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Exhibit a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Qualifications for Success:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years).
Required Experience:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Security Clearance Level:
  • Current TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
  • Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • US Citizenship Required.
