Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tactical Data Link Manager to join our team at Prevailance. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future readiness of the Navy's Surface Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the execution of training and evaluation missions for ATGPAC, ensuring the highest level of combat readiness for the US Pacific Fleet.
  • Develop and implement dynamic, quality afloat training programs to ensure a combat-ready force capable of performing a broad spectrum of maritime missions.
  • Collaborate with the ATGPAC team to provide training to Navy and Coast Guard Sailors, with a focus on institutionalizing onboard capability to sustain and improve combat readiness throughout a deployment cycle.
  • Design and deliver distributed training events, including computer-based simulation and Live, Virtual Constructive (LVC) events, to support the training and certification of ships.
  • Work closely with Tactical Training Group Pacific to distribute virtual training to ships and other training facilities, as directed in the Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) Program.
Requirements
  • Must have experience in Tactical Data Information Link generation systems supporting Line of Sight Link 11(A) /16(J), Satellite-J, Link 16; Tactical Voice/Data Communications.
  • Must have been qualified as an Interface Control Officer, U.S. NAVY Enlisted Classification code W24A or equivalent.
  • Must have scenario development/training experience and configuration and operation experience for one or more of the following systems: Modeling and Simulation, Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF), Multi-System Automated Remote Control and Instrumentation (MARCI) and Battle Force Team Trainer (BFTT).
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of AAW Tactics, Technical Systems, and Instructions, including Navy OPTASK.
  • US Navy Surface ship C5I systems and embedded training systems supporting synthetic training.
  • The detailed data exchange requirements of the various operational areas in which naval forces deploy and how to exercise that capability to ensure ships obtain the highest degree of mission readiness.
  • The Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM).
  • Composite Warfare Commander construct.
  • Command and Control, regarding surveillance, engagement and planning functions required for each of the various numbered fleets.
  • Staff and Fleet operations and planning procedures.
  • Fleet Synthetic Training architecture.
Education and Security Clearance

Bachelor of Science (BS) preferred.

Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
