We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. This role will focus on advancing and refining existing systems and prototypes, particularly emphasizing software integration with hardware components.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and development of advanced tactical communication systems.
2. Facilitate integration among hardware, software, and network systems.
3. Derive and manage system and subsystem requirements based on customer needs.
4. Conduct thorough research and analysis of technical documentation to define system architecture.
5. Collaborate with industry experts to devise solutions for complex challenges.
6. Create, review, and update essential technical documentation, including system diagrams and design descriptions.
7. Support test planning and execution, including flight tests and demonstrations.
8. Analyze test data and develop comprehensive reports and presentations.
9. Engage in demonstration planning with clients and project managers.
10. Some travel may be necessary for hardware installation and testing support.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, with 4-6 years of professional experience, or equivalent experience of eight years.
Ability to perform analyses and trade studies for system component selection.
Self-motivated individuals who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the capability to diagnose technical issues across multiple systems.
Experience in creating detailed system-level interconnect diagrams using supplier data.
Experience in designing cabling and wire harnesses for both prototyping and production.
Comfort in working in active environments.
Familiarity with U.S. Department of Defense programs or systems.

Active U.S. Secret Clearance is required.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience collaborating with networking, software, or mechanical engineering teams.
Experience in agile software development environments, including revision control and continuous integration.
Understanding of RF principles and data analysis techniques.
Knowledge of Navy Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.
Familiarity with network technologies and protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, TCP/IP, DHCP).
Experience with controlled cryptographic items and military SATCOM system integration.
Familiarity with tactical data links and environmental testing standards.
Experience with requirement management software and Systems Modeling tools.
