Job Title: Director - Business Development and Revenue Growth

Extreme Networks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Business Development and Revenue Growth program globally. As a key member of our Growth Marketing team, you will be responsible for driving the overall success of the program, including strategy and execution, hiring and onboarding of key talent, and ongoing training of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to maximize qualified sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the business development program strategy to drive revenue growth and meet strategic objectives.
  • Lead the hiring, onboarding, and training process for the BDR team, with a focus on progressing their careers into other sales opportunities across the company.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop inbound and outbound BDR sequences, including task types, cadence, and key messaging to existing and potential customers.
  • Optimize approach through extensive A/B testing and leverage analytics to create a best practice approach.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, sales operations, and others to provide input and feedback on Extreme's lead management lifecycle and overall lead routing properties.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B tech environment, 3+ years of management/team leader experience.
  • Experience managing/supervising a BDR team with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce and other sales enablement and outreach tools.
  • Ability to understand data and identify insights to incorporate into prospecting strategies.
  • Passion for growing pipeline, acquiring new customers, and reporting on performance.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and people skills.
