Overnight Receiving Supervisor

The Overnight Receiving Supervisor is a critical role within our warehouse operations, responsible for directing and overseeing the daily activities of the warehouse team. This includes shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Responsible for the maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensuring that personnel have safe and efficient equipment to perform their duties.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Responsible for the progressive disciplinary process, including counseling, oral and written warnings, and ensuring a productive labor climate.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations and complete necessary Activity Reports for management.
- 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) and competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
The Overnight Receiving Supervisor will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, frequently exposed to moving vehicles and moderate to noisy conditions.
