About the Job
Sales Engineer - Networking is a key role at Supply Chain Resources Group, responsible for driving the sales process and developing strong relationships with key customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with sales teams to drive the sales process and share in quota target objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts, acting as the primary product solutions interface.
- Lead technical solution development for customers, mapping their requirements to our portfolio and software capabilities.
- Support account management and sales teams with technical solutions tailored to customers' needs, removing technical hurdles to close opportunities.
- Obtain insights into customers' product, technology, and business strategies, contributing to our Hardware Platforms Solutions roadmap.
- Help clarify customers' product requirements and provide input into development SOWs.
- Support technical conversations with customers for product questions and issues post-win, acting as a liaison to internal development teams.
Requirements
- 11+ years of technology-related engineering, marketing, and business development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record in enterprise networking sales and related technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with members of other teams, departments, and customers.
- Experience with networking systems, topologies, applications, challenges, and advantages.
- Proven hands-on capabilities with Linux, Windows, SAN, and networking NOS technologies.
- Experience with networking protocol, management, and security technologies and applications.
