Position Overview:
ReNuke Services is in search of a Nuclear Procurement/IRA Sourcing Specialist to support our operations. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and Prevailing Wage requirements within the nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary focus of this position is to facilitate the effective implementation of IRA requirements while managing supplier relationships and procurement processes. Responsibilities include:

  • Educating suppliers on pricing impacts related to existing contracts and negotiating terms for new agreements.
  • Providing guidance to internal stakeholders regarding IRA compliance and new contracted services.
  • Reviewing contracts and purchase orders to ensure they meet IRA stipulations.
  • Collaborating with the Supply Chain IRA program lead to address IRA-related inquiries.
  • Ensuring suppliers submit compliant monthly payroll reports and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Completing the nuclear sourcing/procurement training program to independently manage procurement tasks.
  • Conducting procurement of complex services and materials, comparing bids, and negotiating with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and terms.
  • Resolving billing and shipment discrepancies to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Achieving cost savings through strategic negotiations and consolidating purchasing requests.
  • Ensuring compliance with sourcing standards and corporate policies in all procurement activities.
  • Maintaining awareness of market conditions and supplier opportunities to inform future procurement strategies.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess exceptional skills in sourcing, contracting, negotiation, and organization. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, along with strong analytical and interpersonal abilities.
