Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing our procurement processes and supplier relationships. Responsibilities include:

  • Educating suppliers on pricing implications related to existing contracts and upcoming agreements.
  • Guiding internal stakeholders on IRA requirements for new contracted services.
  • Reviewing contracts and purchase orders to ensure compliance with IRA stipulations.
  • Collaborating with the Supply Chain IRA program lead to address inquiries from stakeholders.
  • Ensuring suppliers submit compliant monthly payroll reports related to IRA prevailing wage requirements.
  • Completing the nuclear sourcing/procurement training program to independently manage sourcing tasks.
  • Executing complex purchases through supplier agreements, comparing bids, and negotiating terms to secure optimal pricing and conditions.
  • Resolving discrepancies in billing and shipments to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Achieving cost savings through strategic negotiations and consolidation of procurement activities.
  • Ensuring adherence to corporate policies and sourcing standards in all procurement activities.
  • Maintaining awareness of market conditions and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing strategies.
