Job Title: Assistant Manager Adult Day Program

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Manager to join our Adult Day Program team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their highest level of independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the health and safety of all individuals, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Assist with implementing Individualized Plan (IP) goals, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Administer medication (medication certified required) and maintain accurate records.
  • Attend IP plan and program meetings, collaborating with the Program Manager and Instructors.
  • Provide administrative support to the Program Manager and Instructors, ensuring seamless program operations.
  • Coordinate and oversee custodial crew duties, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Work as an Instructor when needed, delivering engaging and interactive classes.
  • Communicate building maintenance issues and assist in resolving them.
  • Monitor daily classes, ensuring inclusivity, engagement, and interaction.
  • Familiarize yourself with behavior plans and protocols, communicating effectively with instructors.
  • Establish and maintain a supportive and professional relationship with individuals, their families, and circle of supports.
  • Provide individual-specific services in compliance with service descriptions and core assurances.
  • Create and maintain a positive atmosphere, promoting warmth, personal interest, and a calm environment.
  • Recognize and report physical and/or emotional changes in an individual's condition, seeking appropriate intervention.
  • Assist individuals with meals, personal hygiene, transitioning, or other tasks as needed.
  • Assist with daily arrival/dismissal duties and tasks.
  • Maintain supply inventory, communicating needs to the Program Manager to ensure program operations.
  • Ensure documentation and submission of all incident reports in accordance with APD guidelines.
  • Communicate all incidents to the Program Manager.
  • Assist with social media content and coordinate community outings.
  • Ensure the building is cleaned and sanitized per CRN safety statement and standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a direct care position, preferably working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • 18 years of age.
  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen.
  • Level II Background screening.
