POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Program Management Specialist at ADDMAN Engineering LLC, you will play a pivotal role during a dynamic phase of expansion within our additive manufacturing, precision machining, and injection molding sectors. This position offers a promising opportunity for a skilled program manager to enhance their expertise in a fast-paced industrial setting. The selected candidate will serve as the primary liaison for clients, independently overseeing programs and projects of varying complexity and scale. This role will concentrate on our precision machining and injection molding operations across multiple locations, with necessary travel to client sites.

This position is governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), necessitating U.S. person status.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead projects and programs with minimal supervision by formulating and executing plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Establish and nurture trusted relationships with clients.
  • Oversee program and project execution, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and technical quality standards.
  • Foster positive, long-term partnerships with clients through regular communication and site visits, enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Identify client needs and internal gaps, proposing solutions to engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to optimize production using ADDMAN group resources.
  • Secure additional volume on existing programs by delivering exceptional value and responsiveness.
  • Support all phases of program/project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Lead the development of RFQ/RFP responses, coordinating the preparation of quotes and proposals.
  • Manage scope changes from clients in collaboration with Engineering and Operations.
  • Effectively juggle multiple tasks and excel in a complex product development environment with competing priorities.
  • Resolve intricate manufacturing challenges and troubleshoot production systems.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management, Configuration Management, Configuration Control, and ERP systems.
  • Negotiate contracts and amendments to ensure compliance and safeguard the organization's interests.
  • Collaborate across various organizational levels.
  • Define and document program deliverables and necessary tasks to meet client requirements while identifying associated risks.
  • Develop a structured framework for detailed program planning, creating a roadmap for successful execution, including the management of key program indicators.
  • Review comprehensive development, engineering, and manufacturing plans, ensuring cross-functional integration and alignment.
  • Identify and communicate to management the team, equipment, and capabilities needed to achieve program deliverables, including any external resources that may be necessary.
  • Lead the team throughout the program lifecycle through proactive communication both internally and externally.
  • Apply technical and functional expertise along with leadership skills and program management determination, maintaining a strong commitment to quality and the evolution of our toolkit, ensuring the successful advancement of ADDMAN's product offerings.
  • Regularly update executive leadership and the broader organization on project status and performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in program and/or project management.
  • Prior experience in precision machining, injection molding, or additive manufacturing is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will be adaptable, assertive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and business implications to a diverse audience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship and be an eligible U.S. Person.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance; active clearance is preferred.
  • Experience in aerospace component development, transition to production, and entry into service.
  • Experience with complex product development/management and aerospace component manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with logic-linked scheduling, cost account management, and budget management.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (Mechanical Desktop, Solidworks).
  • PMP Certification and Six Sigma or Lean Training are preferred.
